UAM Inducts Airbus Aircraft Into End-of-Life Recycling Program

MEMPHIS, TN--(Marketwire - November 15, 2012) - Universal Asset Management (UAM) is excited to announce the arrival of ex-Malaysian Airlines A330-322 MSN 073 at our Tupelo, Mississippi disassembly facility. This asset's End-of-Life Recycling Program, including the sale and placement of material from this aircraft, will be managed from UAM's Memphis Headquarters.

UAM is also excited to announce the arrival of ex-Virgin Atlantic airlines A340- 311 MSN 003. The disassembly of the aircraft in France, as well as the sale of material from this aircraft, will be managed from UAM's Paris office.

During the past 20 years, UAM has inducted over 200 aircraft into the UAM End-of-Life Recycling Program. Now administered at UAM's Tupelo, MS disassembly facility, these projects are the greenest approach to aircraft fleet retirements. UAM follows a very detailed work scope outline for each disassembly to ensure the projects are completed in a safe, timely, and environmentally friendly manner.
